Mel Smith, Senior Family Support Worker from Suffolk County Council's Early Help Team will be in school if you would like advice or discuss how she can help support you and your family.
Class photographs will be taken this year on Friday 12th June 2026.
Please send children in their school uniform, not P.E. kits or forest school clothing.
Children in Reception Class will be visiting Berry Farm in Ilketshall St. Andrew with The Country Trust on Wednesday 20th May 2026.
Children will be shown around the market garden, which includes fruit, vegetables and herbs.
They will also have the opportunity to explore nature and wildlife on the farm.
Activities might include: scavenger hunts, habitat spotting, food chain games, nature art etc.
We will be holding an information session for parents/carers of Year 5 and 6 pupils whose children are attending this year's Aylmerton Residential. This session will be on Wednesday 10th June from 2.45 p.m.
Children in Years 1 and 2 will be taking part in an Athletics Festival on Wednesday 10th June 2026 at Sir John Leman High School from 10.00 a.m. - 12.00 p.m.
Good luck to Year 3 and Year 4 Phoenix girls who will be attending the FA Shooting Stars Tournament at Barnard's Meadow, Lowestoft on Tuesday 28th April.
For this year's Comic Relief we will be having a non-school uniform day when children can come to school dressed in red. This can be as simple as a red T-shirt, a hat, a scarf or some red accessories.
From Monday 9th March to Friday 13th March is Science Week.
This year's theme is 'Curiosity'
Each class will be given a question and, using their curiosity through questions and experiments, they will need to come to an answer.
We will be celebrating Valentine's Day with a themed lunch on Friday 13th February.
We will be holding an information session for parents/carers of children in Year 6 who will be taking their SAT's exams this May.
This session will be led by Miss Smith and Mr. Jordan in the Year 6 classroom from 2.45 p.m. - 3.15 p.m. on Tuesday 10th February.
We will be taking part in and supporting this years 'NSPCC Numbers Day' on Friday 6th February 2026.
We would love to see our pupils come to school on this day dressed as something numerical.
