Our Library is reopened!
Mrs. Hayes is very excited to announce that the school library is ready to reopen next week! This is thanks to an incredible amount of work from Mrs. Everett and the Pupil Librarians. With support from the National Literacy Trust, we are also delighted to have the following additions to our library:
A new online system to keep track of stock and sign books and out of the library.
A clear, easy to use layout of books to support children in choosing a book they'll love.
6 tablet E-Readers to access our Online Library.
400 engaging new books.
A Yoto Player with 28 story cards for the children to listen and engage with.
Brand-new high-quality seating.
Functional RWI and intervention spaces with resource drawers.
A 'Spotlight' table... Authors will usually be celebrated on this table. The spotlight table is currently showcasing the Queen's Jubilee for our Teachers to read with their class next week.
A 'First in the Series' section showcasing the first instalment of popular book series.
All of the children will be visiting the library next week with their Class Teachers, to select a new book for half term.
Huge thanks to:
