In Art last week Heron class continued to look at the artist Paul Cezanne and his still life paintings. We looked at how different shading techniques allow us to identify where light is coming from in a drawing, as well as showing the shape of an item. Pupils followed in Paul Cezanne's footsteps and enjoyed sketching their own still life of an apple, whilst using marks, lines and shadows to produce texture.
