After School Clubs
Details of current Clubs are provided below.
Enrichment is an important part of our curriculum and school life at Phoenix St. Peter Academy and we are pleased to be able to offer wraps round childcare from 7:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. every term day.
Breakfast Club (Early Bird) sessions from 7:30a.m. - 8:00a.m. are £2.25, per child, per morning, which represents excellent value for our parents and an enjoyable, engaging start to the day for the children.
Breakfast Club (Wakey Shaky) sessions from 8:00a.m. - 8:40a.m. are free of charge and funded through the government's Breakfast Club programme. Children must arrive by 8:15a.m.
After-School Clubs are offered from 3:15p.m. to 4:15p.m. every school day and children who require extended school childcare in ESCape! Club (from 4:15p.m. to 5:30p.m.) are given priority in After-School Clubs. Children who do not require ESCape! Club are rotated on a half termly basis, so that all children have the opportunity to enjoy all clubs through the year. Parents and carers are asked not to collect children until 4:15p.m. please.
ESCape! Club sessions are £4.50 per child, per session and run from 4:15p.m. to 5:30p.m. Parents and carers can collect children anytime after 5:00p.m. The children are given a snack and refreshments.
Children eligible for Pupil Premium Grant under the 'Targeted' programme will NOT incur any charge for clubs, as we receive additional funding to support those children and families. We would encourage all parents to check their eligibility if you think you may be entitled. The link to Suffolk County Council’s FSM page is below. After-school clubs are charged at £2.50 per child, per session for children who are not Targeted Free-School Meals.
Payment
An After-School Club registration form will be sent in the holidays via Arbor email for parents to register their children. You will be asked to pay any fees by the 10th September, unless your child is eligible for free school meals. This fee will be added to your Parent Account on Arbor under Clubs.
