Senior Leadership Team

Our Senior Leadership Team oversee a wide range of key areas such as monitoring, assessment and data analysis,  curriculum innovation, attendance, welfare and safeguarding, SENDCo, emotional and behavioural support, finance, compliance, premises management, marketing and business support.

Mr Rich Roberts, Interim Headteacher

Mr. Rich Roberts is our Interim Head and Alternate Designated Safeguarding Lead and can be contacted by email at:  richard.roberts@phoenixstpeteracademy.org.

Rich has spent many years as a the substantive Headteacher in West Sussex, before moving into supporting schools in Interim posts and is delighted to be at Phoenix St. Peter Academy.

 

 

Mrs Samantha Barnard, Assistant Headteacher, Designated Safeguarding Lead and SEND Coordinator

Mrs Barnard is our Assistant Head, Designated Safeguarding Lead and SENCo and can be contacted by email at:  samantha.barnard@phoenixstpeteracademy.org.

Samantha has been part of the teaching staff at Phoenix for many years and is committed to ensuring that every child, including those with SEND, achieve the very best they can.

 

Miss Sabiha Khatri, Assistant Headteacher and Year 6 Teacher

Miss Khatri is our Assistant Head and Remote Learning Lead and can be contacted by email at:  sabiha.khatri@phoenixstpeteracademy.org.

Sabiha has been at Phoenix St. Peter for a number of years having moved from her teaching post in London, and is passionate about the school, its pupils and their education and learning.

 

Mrs Kirsten Ward, School Business Manager

Mrs Ward is our School Business Manager and can be contacted by email at:  kirsten.ward@phoenixstpeteracademy.org. Kirsten joined Phoenix St. Peter Academy in January 2021, having previously been an SBM for two local primary schools, before working at a central Trust as the PA to the CEO.

After a number of years she decided to return to school life and was delighted to be appointed at Phoenix St. Peter Primary, having grown up in Kirkley and this being her own Primary school.
